Unstop, Restart, or Resubscribe
Updated over a week ago

In some cases, your subscribers may want to opt-out, then opt back in at a later date. This is possible, but the correct keywords must be used to remove the block on their number.

It is important to make it easy for your subscribers to opt-out from future SMS messages. To facilitate this at Voyage, we use a robust natural language system that can capture a wide range of words and phrases that users may use to express their intent to unsubscribe. This is called Fuzzy opt-out. After they have unsubscribed, only specific keywords work to reactivate their consent to receive SMS messages again.

In order for a user to resubscribe, they must use the word: UNSTOP

They can reply with the word "UNSTOP" (without quotes) to any previous campaign that was sent from your Voyage account. It is also possible to send that keyword directly to your Voyage SMS short code or long code to reactivate membership on your SMS list.
